Leon J. Colafrancesco CFP®

After graduating from California State University at Fullerton in 1979 with a degree in Business Administration, Leon began his financial planning/money management practice in Orange County, California. In 1998, Leon founded Seamount Financial Group, Inc. and continues to serve as president.

Over his thirty years of experience in finance, he has developed a keen eye for market, economic, and socio-political trends and how they apply to a client's personal strategy and investment portfolio. Leon specializes in comprehensive financial planning, wealth management, and assisting clients in coordinating a broad range of business, personal and family elements.

Christopher R. Dorsett CFP®

Chris enjoys being with people. He has assisted individuals, families and small businesses with their financial planning needs since 1998. Chris helps clients organize their financial lives in order to pursue long-term goals. He offers insight into industry and business cycle trends, strategic and tactical investment strategies, risk analysis, and financial education.

In 1994, Chris received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance from California State University at Fullerton. Among his many other qualifications, he is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, and holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 registrations.

In addition, Chris is a licensed Life and Health agent (CO License #283374). Insurance products he represents include life, accident and health, and long-term care.

Chris sits on the boards of two non-profit organizations within the Pikes Peak region — Southern Colorado Velo (SoCoVelo) and PikeRide.

Married to his wife, Karen, since 1988 they have three sons and daughters-in-law, as well as two grandsons. Chris’ hobbies and leisure-time activities include leading a cycling group, hiking, snowshoeing, riding his motorcycle, reading, gardening, and being with his grandchildren.

Michael J. Healy

Mike began his securities career in 1982 after graduating from the University of Southern California with a Bachelor of Science degree in public affairs. In addition to his years of experience in the investment industry, Michael holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 24 registrations. He is also licensed in the State of California for life and variable annuities (CA License #OA55906).

Mike specializes in fixed income securities (tax-free and taxable bonds) and the management of individual stock and bond portfolios. He assists in the implementation and management of small business retirement plans. Michael is actively involved in community sports programs.

Jaye D. Mueller

Jaye is an advisor associate and client services manager with Seamount Financial Group. She joined the firm in 1999 and assists the financial advisors by providing high-quality service to clients.

Responsible for handling many of the day-to-day business operations for the firm, Jaye excels in time-management and efficiency skills. She also processes account paperwork and executes financial transactions.

Living in beautiful Colorado, Jaye’s passion is to experience the outdoor life, especially hiking and snowshoeing. She has three daughters and two grandchildren who share her love for the outdoors, and often join her. Jaye also enjoys still photography and reading.

Aaron M. McLaughlin CFP®

Aaron began his career in finance after graduating from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology. He joined Seamount Financial Group in 2011 after gaining unique exposure to the financial industry through his employment at several regional and national banks. Aaron focuses on retirement transitions and multi-generational planning and specializes in advanced Social Security planning strategies, life insurance design, and education planning.

Aaron is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, holds his FINRA Series 7 and Series 66 registrations and is a licensed Life and Health Insurance agent (AZ License #13240775). He is a member of the Financial Planning Association and an active member of his church, volunteering with a number of outreach ministries. Outside of the office, Aaron enjoys spending time with his wife and three sons, golfing, snowboarding, and attending live concerts.

Nicholas R. Dorsett CFP®

Nick is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional at Seamount Financial Group based in the Colorado Springs office. He is passionate about helping clients invest and plan properly to achieve their long-term financial goals. Nick focuses on fundamental and technical market analysis, portfolio design, and comprehensive financial planning.

After receiving a Bachelor of Arts degree in Finance from Baylor University, Nick spent 5 years in corporate finance and compensation roles in Salt Lake City, Utah. He managed relationships with key employees and helped implement numerous strategies to incentivize employees and recruit talent. In addition to his other CFP® designation, he holds his FINRA Series 7 and 66 licenses and is a licensed Life and Health agent (CO License #776989). Nick enjoys spending time with friends and family, biking, skiing, and traveling.

Patrick T. Healy CFP®

Patrick is a financial advisor at Seamount Financial Group in the Tustin, California office. He helps individuals and families manage their finances, allowing them to focus on personal and professional priorities. Patrick specializes in portfolio construction, asset allocation, income tax and retirement planning, stock option analysis, and orchestrating tax-efficient wealth transfers between generations, ensuring family members are properly educated and prepared.

Prior to joining Seamount, Patrick spent over five years at PIMCO in their Institutional Business Group. At PIMCO, he worked on over $20 billion in custom asset allocation and fixed income portfolio solutions for clients such as public retirement systems, central banks, corporations, endowments, foundations, and financial institutions worldwide. Patrick holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of Texas at Austin and is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® practitioner, having completed the CFP® education program at the University of California, Irvine. Outside of work, he enjoys writing and discovering new music.

Katarina B. Garcia

Katarina is an Executive Assistant and Office Manager for Seamount Financial Group and joined our team in 2008. She provides ongoing administrative support to our advisors, oversees special projects for our three offices, and works to improve the experience for clients every day. Originally from Sweden, Katarina lives in Colorado Springs with her husband. She has four children including fourteen grandchildren. Outside of the office, Katarina is an active volunteer in her church and enjoys spending time with family, reading, cycling, hiking and many outdoor activities.
