Leon J. Colafrancesco CFP®
Leon Colafrancesco began his financial planning and money management career after graduating from California State University at Fullerton in 1979 with a degree in business administration. He started his practice in Orange County, California and in 1983 became a Certified Financial Planner. Fifteen years later he founded Seamount Financial Group, Inc., and continues to serve as president.
Seamount Financial Group currently has offices in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Scottsdale, Arizona, Tustin and Newport Beach, California. Leon and his five partners manage nearly $1 billion in assets. They focus on high-net-worth clients, providing comprehensive financial planning and wealth management services.
Throughout the years, he has had the privilege of serving in various capacities on ministry and hospital boards, as well as on the Field Advisory Committee at his prior broker dealer.
Leon and his wife of 45 years, Rebecca, are blessed to have two married daughters and five grandchildren with whom they cherish spending time.
The CFP® designation is conferred by the Certified Financial Planner Professional Board of Standards, Inc. To earn the credential, each CFP® candidate must have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) from an accredited college or university and three years of full-time personal financial planning experience. In addition, candidates must take the CFP® Certification examination and complete a CFP®-board registered program, or hold an accepted designation, degree, or license.
